NWS Holdings Limited (“NWS Holdings” or the “Group”; Hong Kong stock code: 659) and 11 member companies have been awarded the Caring Company logo by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service in recognition of the Group’s long-term commitment to corporate citizenship and concerted efforts in caring for disadvantaged groups through partnership with non-profit organisations. Of these companies that received the recognition, the Group’s corporate office and eight member companies garnered the 10 Years Plus Caring Company logo (details as shown in the table below). In addition, three member companies, namely New World First Bus Services Limited, Citybus Limited and New World First Ferry Services Limited, have been selected in the List of Barrier-free Companies/Organisations for their continued effort in introducing and improving accessibility measures. These include step-free entrance, sufficient handrails and priority seats in buses, and Personal Emergency Link and skid-proof materials at piers and on ferries.
